35 of these tapes were made, and thrown into Daint Recordings orders without explanation. Covers were made of pages cut out of a Godzilla graphic novel. Digital download cards were made available to those who needed them. We wanted to do something that only existed in the real world and nowhere else. Something that could only be accessed by being proactive and actually participating in this weirdo diy noise thing. Thank you to those who did. Now that the tapes are gone we are making it available here.

If you're looking for the sound of kindling dread and cold alienation, this is the album for you. I'm used to Deathbed Tapes' output being a sonic assault, and artists whose approach to sound is to invariably push it "into the red". This however is so much more subtler, it's gentler pace drawing-in curious listeners, enveloping them in it's all too intriguing darkness. Ben Harris
